Obviously if you followed the advice on this blog and bought NVDA Bitcoin etc.. years ago you would be very rich now

As 1 per cent of people review products they buy I GUESS 71k units sold so far and allocations sell out in 3 seconds each day. Assuming 7 million pre orders and Huawei making 10k units per day you have a 0.14% chance of getting one per day. So 2 years on average before you get one. Assuming 20k units made per day 0.28% chance or 1 year to get. Assuming 40k units 0.56% chance or 6 months Assuming 80k units (unlikely) 1.12% or 3 months

AI to replace 80 per cent of all jobs?

Maybe in 5 to 20 years we will need universal basic income or work just one day a week instead of 5. Or a combination mix of these. Weirdly it looks as though creative and white collar jobs and junior programmers are being replaced first and supposedly less skilled manual tasks may be the last as humanoid robots and FSD may be 100 years away to truly replace manual labour and driving better than a human. So if you are a cleaner, driver, plumber,builder or electrician I think your job will be mostly safe.

Politicians and conspiracy theorists dont seem to really understand exponential growth and decay. That is why crypto networks and virus growth and decay are both under and over estimated. But usually vastly underestimated in impact as guess which ones tend to grow fast at the moment :)

Feet get bigger as you go past 40

Top tip for guys (and maybe some girls) approaching their forties. If you buy expensive shoes get one half a size bigger and a molded insole, as your feet will probably be a half size bigger in just a few years. Bizarrely in last 7 years I am sligtly taller and my feet are longer as well as wider.
